"The IELTS study in CNS2 of Clory(8)-my summary of the study
Time is flying,and it’s already the end of my study period in CNS2.I enjoy the time.The succeeding paragraphs are my summary of my study.
Listening
In the first weekly test,my listening score was just 4.In the recent tests,I can keep the score above 5.The result due to the intensive practice everyday.The first month focus on basic practice,and the second month focus on mock tests practice which is similar to the real tests.During the practice,the material is played more than 2 times.When some difficult pronounciations occure,the teacher will stop and emphasize.There are also some skills given,like analyzing the patterns of the missing words.For listening,the best way to improve is practicing a lot.After CNS2,I’d better keep doing exercise everyday.
Speaking
The most valuable course is speaking in CNS2,since we cannot get enough speaking opportunities in China.In CNS2,every student can enjoy at least 2 speaking classes every day,including one-on-one class and group class.In the first weekly test,my speaking test score was just 4.5.Now,I can easily get 5.5 or more.Furthermore,I am not nervous again and seldom blocked in the test.
In one-on-one class,my teacher is very responsible.She writes on my notebook about my wrong pronounciation,wrong sentences or words and better my answer.Sometimes she also give some idioms,which leave deep impression on me and make me remember well.

The group class is also interesting and benefitial.Usually there are only 4 or 3 students taking the class together.The teacher ask us the same question,and everyone give their own answer.Different answers broaded our mind and thinking way.The teacher also better each answer,which make a full discussion about each question.Sometimes the teacher give assignments to us and ask us use the words which are seldom used by us but very helpful.
Comparing with those IELTS training schools which focus on providing lots of strategies in China,the teaching in CNS2 could really improve our speaking skills which make us adapt the real English situations.Especially for those want to get 7,it is extremely helpful.
Reading
In the beginning,I always cannot finish the test paper,because it really includes too much contents.After the intensive practice and some skills applying,my reading pace speeds up.However,my vocabulary is still limited.What I need to do is review the practice papers again and again,since the materials are already familiar and helpful.
Writing
My writing teacher has been working in CNS2 more than 10 years and his English is extremely good.When he read my assignments,he always feel headache.For the reason that,the logic of my sentences always has prolems.He need to think deeply and analyze my article.He is responsible and serious about every point.Lacking of logic is probably the main problem of chinese students,maybe for the culture.I like my writing book,and I will always review it because there are many excellent sentences and words given by the teacher after mine,which make me understand better.
I need to complete at least one writing assignmen everyday.Sometimes I feel hard,because I need think a lot about the point and how to give logical sentences.In my point,IELTS writing not only need basic English skills,but also our living experiences,knowledge and good logic thinking way.Consequently,we need to read a lot of good materials and form a habit of thinking deeply.Many chinese students like me,always think that some point is simple and everyone agree and think so.Actually,we should treat the examiner as one who know nothing about the topic,so we need detail the sentences and make the view clear and easily understood.
My teacher suggested me read widely,like the information of travel,food,culture,history,nature and technology in Yahoo.After the reading,we also need to think deeply.It is benefitial not only to our vocabulary but also to our writing.
IELTS is a hard way.In our own country,we can work hard on improving our listening and reading by ourselves.However,for speaking,we need to practice a lot,especially to those who want to get 7.We cannot access pure English environment in China,but in the Philippines it is easy and affordable.Furthermore,the teachers are so friendly and patient.Choosing CNS2 is a smart way."

"The IELTS study in CNS2 of Clory(7)-The daily life in CNS2
Since I have been in CNS2 for almost 7 weeks,I feel more and more comfortable about everything here.Eventhough the facilities are not so new,but everything is convenient.Anyway,study is the most important.
FOOD
The dining room is not so big but neat and nice.Because CNS2 is focus on IELTS,there are not so many students here.For this reason,the chefs can cook better than those need to cook large amount of food in one cooker.I like the food in CNS2,especially the seaweed soup and sea food noodles.Each meal consists of vegetables,meat,soup and fruits,extremely nutrional.There are always kimchi,which is said to be the reason that Korean always have good skin.Eventhough most of the time Korean food is provided,the food is still similar to chinese food and not spicy.When I was in Beijing,I always ate in Korean restaurants,but the taste of the food in CNS2 is better than those in Beijing.
GYM
The gym is in the 5th floor,and various facilities are there.Most students in CNS2 study hard,so most of the time it is not crowded and you can enjoy it anytime.

Dormitory
The majority of the dormitory type are double and triple,all in the same area.Warm and sweet,clean and well-lighted,and there is roomy balcony out side,which provide nice view of Baguio and make students relax fully.Students are arranged to avoid living with countrymen,so that they have more opportunies to speak English.
The students
The majority of the students came from Korea several years,but now most of the students come from Japan.In relation to chinese students,Just 3,yet most of the time there are less chinese here.Next week the two chinese girls come back to China,and only one chinese here again.That is me.Consequently,it is a good school for chinese since there are seldom chinese here and they can only speak English.
The two chinese girls are popular in CNS2,especially the Korean boys get well with them.In my point of view,Korean students are always extrovert and humours,and japanese students are humble,friendly and have good manner.Additionally,the Filipino teachers are friendly and always smile.Korean,Japanese and chinese meet here,with hospitabal and approachable Filipino teachers,it is amazing!What a good chance to make friends with foreigners!
On weekends,the students always go out to have a trip for relax,like Baguio landscapes or others tour places near Baguio,like hundred islands.Everything in the Philippines is cheap,you can enjoy it."
