I am Flora, I’m from Vietnam and I’m 25 years old. When I first came to Davao, I couldn’t find my luggage in airport. The Student manager helped me to get back it the day after.
Moreover, I appreciated the support from the office and all the teachers. The office was always ready to help me to change the schedule until it was suitable to me. I chose 8 week ESL programme, it developed 4 skills; speaking, listening, reading, writing. I had a pronunciation group class but my teachers in the man to man class corrected my pronunciation whenever I pronounced wrong.

On my first days, everybody was very difficult to understand Vietnamese accent, but now we can easily talking in various topics Even though I didn’t have enough time to study with all the teachers in E&G, but I believe that all of them are good and kind. In Vietnam, there is a big wall separating teachers and students, the teachers are superior to students. So usually students feel scared of teachers, the relationship is also not close.

On the contrary, students and teachers in E&G can be friends and easily talk, they even can hang out with students. I was very surprised about this. In addition, the friends came from Japan, Korea, China are kind and friendly. This was also the first time I live in the dormitory, friends could easily meet each other everyday, study together, eat together, play together. Every weekend, the student usually went to the beach, the water park, park or scuba diving with the reasonable price. Actually, I was very happy.

Finally, thank you to all teachers for teaching in E&G in Davao. Thank to all students for choosing E&G to study English. I saw them with various colors, everyone has aunique color, so I could learn new things from every color.
